Tony started with Flowerwood in 2006. He started in the field in 1974 developing a nursery for a feed and seed company before he married. The next year he started a landscape and maintenance company. Over the years this evolved into several crews and 2 garden centers. He faced hardship due to a flood in the mid-'90s. His next endeavor was working as a nursery specialist and a Flowerwood customer which lead to his employment with us. Tony has several Georgia certifications including a pesticide license. Some of Tony's hobbies include being a student of the Bible and prayer, bicycle riding, mountain hiking, and camping, flower and vegetable gardening, playing with his grandchildren, and fishing. Tony's favorite plants are camellias and azaleas due to the range of bloom colors and climates they'll tolerate. Tony has been married to his wife Madge for 46 years. They currently live in Inverness, FL. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. He's also in process of renovating 2 homes on large tracts of land in south Georgia. One of these will most likely be his home in the future phase of their life.
