Drought and salt tolerant, this tough shrub is suitable for a variety of landscapes. Light green new growth darkens to emerald green, and striking red bottlebrush flowers appear spring into summer.
Water before planting.
Dig hole 2X the width of pot.
Plant 1-2” above ground soil level, backfill hole with soil.
Water and add more soil if needed.
Mulch 1-2” deep around plant, avoiding area closest to stem.
