Whether grown as a shrub or small tree, the soaring lavender blooms of Summertime Blues make for a dazzling display in the warmer months. Maturing 5–6′ high by 4–5′ wide, this vitex is an excellent choice for an easy-care ornamental privacy plant, hedge, or border. Summertime Blues is hardy in USDA Zones 5a - 10b; it grows well in full sun conditions and has low watering needs.
Water before planting.
Dig hold 2X the width of pot.
Plant 1-2” above ground soil level, backfill hole with soil.
Water and add more soil if needed.
Mulch 1-2” deep around plant, avoiding area closest to stem.
