More About Melia

Melia joined Flowerwood in 2022, and we are thankful to have her with us. Her husband worked in landscaping and forestry management for years. In 2018 they started a landscape supply company; she was in management and marketing for them prior to joining us. Melia has a background in international missions and has done ministry work in Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and China. She has always been an avid traveler and has been to 19 countries with more on her radar. Melia loves reading with a hot cup of coffee or taking her daughter to the park. Her favorite plants are hydrangeas, lantanas, and Japanese magnolias. She loves bright, beautiful flowering plants brightening up her yard and this makes her want to be outside as much as possible when they’re in bloom. She was married in March 2020 the last weekend before Covid standards prohibited large gatherings. They’ve since had 2 children, a little girl, and a little boy. They also own a Belgian Malinois dog which keeps them all on their toes. Flowerwood is excited to have Melia working with us.
